About
My name is Paul. I began my firefighting journey in the 1980s as a volunteer, working alongside my father and others in our community.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate to serve as a firefighter across forestry, Parks & Wildlife, Fire & Emergency Services and continuing as a volunteer. I’ve worked alongside highly respected leaders and very experienced crews — from local bushfires to large-scale Level 3 incidents. Over the last decade I’ve worked as a trainer, delivering a range of bushfire and incident management courses.
Lynette and I built the first Bushfire Model in 2016 to help a local firefighter share his knowledge with new brigade members. The success of this first session quickly led to requests for more models. In recent times these requests have included models for Fire & Rescue Service and State Emergency Service personnel.
We are based in regional Western Australia where our small business designs and supplies training models to brigades, mining companies and fire departments across Australia.

Our aim is to help firefighters share their knowledge.
The ongoing feedback and support that we receive from firefighters and fire departments across Australia is a huge part of the Bushfire Model’s success.
We make each model by hand; an investment in time that maintains our aim of helping firefighters share their knowledge.
